Baby Incubator is a medical device designed to support and protect newborns, particularly those requiring special care. In certain conditions, newborns may not be physiologically stable, and one common issue is hypothermia—defined as a body temperature below the normal range. To address this, baby incubators must maintain a temperature that corresponds to the infant’s condition. However, many existing incubator devices still suffer from inaccuracies in temperature readings, which can compromise their effectiveness, especially in terms of usability and monitoring by medical personnel. The objective of this study is to design a baby incubator with adjustable temperature settings and integrated safety limit controls, aimed at enhancing the knowledge and responsiveness of healthcare workers in monitoring neonatal conditions. The research utilizes Arduino Uno as the control system and a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) character module for visualizing temperature data. The results of the study show that the temperature error values at 34°C, 35°C, 36°C, and 37°C were less than 1%, indicating high accuracy. It is recommended that temperature monitoring be complemented by ambient temperature measurements to improve the overall effectiveness of the incubator system.
