Abstract

Disease vector control uses integrated control methods and emphasizes community participation in Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) plus activities. The larva-free rate in Nampu village is still below 95%, which has implications for the high number of dengue fever cases. It is necessary to empower the community, especially health and environmental cadres, to change the behavior of the community in Nampu Village. Socialization in the form of counseling on bionomics and mosquito control as well as assistance in making larvitrap skills is one of the efforts to minimize Dengue Fever. The role of health and environmental cadres can be an example and change the behavior of the community around their residence in Nampu Village.
